Rock Steady Boxing
Former Northwest Indiana boxer Kristy Rose Follmar teaches boxing to Parkinson’s patients at Rock Steady Boxing in Indianapolis

Comments:
This video was full of images that would make great photos as well. The subject was interesting and the audio was great. It was a little long for our tastes, but all the good things about it still kept it as our number one choice.

Second Place: Sam Riche
Barack vs. Hillary
Obama and Clinton square off in the Indiana primary

Comments:
Great editing. It was obvious that a lot of work into this one and it was a nice take on all the election craziness that almost every paper found themselves covering this primary season. It felt fresh and original.

Third Place: Robert Scheer
Apartment Fire
An apartment building goes up in flames on Indianapolis’ westside.

Comments:
It doesn’t hurt that it was a huge fire, but this was a great example of an excellent spot news video. There were some nice angles and shots as well as reaction from the residents.

HM: Chris Howell
Flash Flooding
Area residents deal with the aftermath of flash flooding after more than 10 inches of rain pelted the area over night.

Comments: We really liked the audio from the scanner at the beginning. It did a good job of showing everything that was happening in a big news situation.
