HSPA, INPA, APPM, Indy Star Pizza & Photo Night

The Hoosier State Press Association, in conjunction with the Indiana News Photographers Association, The Associated Press Photo Managers and The Indianapolis Star would like to invite you to an educational night of Pizza, Photos and Multi Media.

Who: Denny Simmons of the Evansville Courier and David Gilkey of National Public Radio will be our speakers.

Simmons was the 2007 NPPA BOP Photographer of the year for small markets. His slice of life photojournalism has garnered him multiple awards over his career.

Emmy award winning Gilkey left the Detroit Free Press to join NPR as a visual journalist. He will talk about how NPR is using both video and still photography for storytelling.

When: Friday Dec. 5, 2008 6pm to whenever
