Rob Hart

Rob HartRob Hart is a freelance photojournalist based in Chicago and an Adjunct Faculty of Photojournalism at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Rob is a 2000 graduate of Columbia College in Chicago.

He spent 12 years working at the Chicago Sun-Times and was named the 2013 Chicago Journalist of the Year. In the summer of 2013, he received national attention for the Laid off from the Sun-Times Tumblr he created to tell his story with an iPhone after being replaced at the Sun-Times by reporters with iPhones.

Whitney Curtis

Whitney CurtisWhitney Curtis is an editorial and commercial photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating with a degree in photojournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Whitney Curtis worked as a staff photojournalist at her hometown newspaper, The Kansas City Star, northern Utah’s Standard-Examiner, and theDaily Herald in suburban Chicago.

As a St. Louis-based freelance photographer for seven years, she covers a broad range of assignments throughout the Midwest for editorial, commercial and nonprofit clients. In recent months, Whitney has covered the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri extensively for The New York Times.

Matt Stone

Matt StoneMatt Stone has been a staff photographer at the Louisville Courier-Journal since 2003.

At the Courier-Journal, Matt covers a variety of assignments ranging from daily picture packages to the Kentucky Derby and everything in between.

He is an Indiana University graduate and former intern at The Bay City Times, The Muskegon Chronicle and The Flint Journal.
