It’s time to look back at your 2020 work to enter the Indiana News Photographers Association’s annual contest, which will be held virtually this year (thanks COVID-19) on Friday, Feb. 19 and Saturday, Feb. 20.
We will be hosting judges to look at our work online this year since it is not safe for us to meet up in person.
The multimedia contest entries are due by Monday, Feb. 8, 2020, and the still contest entries are due by Monday, Feb. 15, 2020, by noon (eastern time).

Note: This year we added a picture story category to the CPOY competition.
As a reminder, last year we changed the way you name files to make it easier and less complicated to enter your images. All you’ll need to do is name the photos correctly with a complete caption. You’ll find the naming instructions on each contest page. Just like with clip contests, there’s no need to make a zip file to enter, just drag and drop your entries straight into the contest entry window.
Remember you must be a paid member of INPA to enter the contest. Please check to make sure you are a member in good standing before attempting to enter the contest.
If you have any questions leading up to the contest deadlines or before the conference please feel free to email me or text me at (812)-298-5921. I will be sending out more information announcing the judges and our virtual schedule at a later date so be on the lookout.
